Krutidev 010 vs Mangal Unicode: UPSSSC allows both. Krutidev 010 uses the traditional Remington typewriter layout. Mangal Unicode uses INSCRIPT or Remington GAIL. Both are accepted — choose one before exam day and practise only on that layout. If you are new to Hindi typing, Mangal is recommended as it is Unicode-based and future-proof.

Typing Test Clear करने के Tips

For the complete keyboard layout, typing rules, and matra guide — see the UPSSSC Hindi Typing page and UPSSSC English Typing page.

🏠

Home row से शुरू करें

A S D F · J K L ; — पहले home row perfect करें।

📊

Weak keys identify करें

TypingSutra automatically weak keys track करता है। हर session के बाद analysis देखें — जो keys slow हैं उन पर extra practice करें।

🔄

Daily 20-30 minutes — consistency

1 घंटा weekend practice से better है 20 min daily। Typing muscle memory बनती है repetition से — consistency ज़रूरी है।

Why TypingSutra — Best Platform for UPSSSC Junior Assistant Typing Preparation

Why TypingSutra
The only platform built specifically for UPSSSC typing.
Most candidates practice on generic typing websites that don't follow UPSSSC rules — wrong error scoring, no backspace limit, wrong duration. They arrive at the exam unprepared for the actual format. TypingSutra replicates the exact UPSSSC environment so there are no surprises on exam day.
🎯Exact UPSSSC scoring

5 free errors, −5 words from 6th error onward. Backspace limited to current + 1 previous word. 5-minute countdown. Exactly as it will be on exam day.

📈Session-by-session WPM tracking

Every session is recorded — WPM, accuracy, error count. See your progress over days and weeks. Know when you are exam-ready.

Automatic weak key detection

After each session, TypingSutra identifies which specific keys are slowing you down and runs targeted drills on only those keys.

🔤Hindi and English on one platform

Switch between Hindi (INSCRIPT or Remington) and English practice without leaving the app. Start with the Hindi typing guide or English typing guide — both linked from this page.

Other UPSSSC Posts with Same Typing Requirement

These UPSSSC posts require a typing skill test in both Hindi and English — 25 WPM Hindi and 30 WPM English, five minutes each, qualifying in nature. Pick your post for the specific guide.

WPM Calculation — Full & Half Mistakes Explained

Full Mistake — 1 error each
Spelling error (omission, addition, substitution)
Wrong word or word omitted
Word repeated
Incomplete / half-typed word
Half Mistake — 0.5 error each
½Spacing error (missing or extra space)
½Wrong capitalisation
½Punctuation error
½Transposition (words in wrong order)
½Paragraphic error
Formula
Total errors = Full mistakes + (Half mistakes ÷ 2)
If total errors ≤ 5 → no penalty
If total errors > 5 → penalty = (errors − 5) × 5 words
Net WPM = (Total keystrokes ÷ 5 − penalty) ÷ 5 minutes
