Government exams count a "word" as 5 characters: Gross WPM = (characters typed ÷ 5) ÷ minutes. So the PSSSB minimum of 30 WPM equals about 1,500 characters in 10 minutes. Accuracy is correct characters ÷ total characters — and at PSSSB's 92% bar, accuracy decides as many results as speed does.
