- Account data: Phone number (for OTP login), display name (optional).
- Usage data: Lessons completed, WPM scores, accuracy, session history, exam context selected.
- Payment data: Payment is processed by Razorpay. We do not store card numbers or bank details. We store your subscription status and payment reference IDs only.
- Device data: Browser type, device type, approximate location (city level) — collected via Google Analytics.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and improve the typing practice service.
- To track your learning progress and show personalised analytics.
- To manage your subscription and process payments.
- To send important service updates (no marketing without consent).
- To analyse usage patterns and improve the platform.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Razorpay — for payment processing.
- Google Analytics — for anonymised usage analytics.
- MongoDB Atlas — for secure cloud database storage.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account and progress data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@typingsutra.com.

We use session cookies for authentication and Google Analytics cookies for usage tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect functionality.
6. Security
Data is stored on MongoDB Atlas with encryption at rest. All communication is over HTTPS. OTP-based login means no passwords are stored.
